Important Terms All Wapon Users Should Know

If you’re new to wapon, you may come across some terms that are frequently used within the platform. Understanding these will help you navigate and use wapon more effectively.

    1. AWB Number

Air Waybill Number – a unique tracking ID assigned to every shipment. You can use this number to track your parcel’s journey.

    2. NDR (Non-Delivery Report)

A report generated when a courier is unable to deliver the shipment. Reasons may include incorrect address, customer unavailability, or refusal to accept.

    3. RTO (Return to Origin)

When a shipment cannot be delivered and is returned back to the seller’s pickup address.

    4. COD (Cash on Delivery)

A payment option where the buyer pays in cash (or UPI/card in some cases) when the shipment is delivered.

    5. Prepaid Order

An order where the customer pays online at the time of placing the order.

    6. Courier Partner

The logistics company (e.g., Delhivery, Bluedart, Xpressbees) that wapon uses to pick up and deliver your shipments.

    7. Weight Discrepancy

A difference between the weight declared by the seller and the weight measured by the courier partner. This may result in additional charges.

    8. Shipping Label

A document generated for each order that contains essential shipment details like AWB number, customer address, and barcode for scanning.

    9. KYC (Know Your Customer)

Mandatory documentation process (like submitting PAN, GSTIN, or business details) required to verify your account and enable services.

    10. Wallet

A prepaid balance in your wapon account that you can recharge and use to pay for shipping charges.
